3.03 Student Relationships

 

Instructional personnel are responsible for the students enrolled in their classes. The following items will be considered in carrying out this responsibility.
 
1. Discipline should be handled by the person in charge; however, the principal shall be contacted when deemed necessary.
2. Students shall not be dismissed earlier than the regularly scheduled time without prior permission of the principal.
3. School issues of a controversial nature or personal disagreements shall not be discussed in the presence of students.
 
Any teacher shall have the authority to hold any pupil to a strict accountability for any disorderly conduct in schools, on the way to or from school, or during intermission or recess. The pupil shall be further responsible to the teacher in accordance with Section 20-4-302, M.C.A.
