C.R. Anderson Middle School Remodeled After Quake
After the earthquake in July 2005, there was substantial damage to classrooms at C.R. Anderson Middle School. The partnership between Dick Anderson Construction, Morrison-Mairele and other subcontractors was key in making the improvements to the school a success while school was in progress. Much of the work was done during off school hours so the children would not be too distracted by construction outside the classroom windows. Once the stabilization was complete children were allowed to begin the school year. The 1965 addition has been 100 percent improved and brought up to earthquake code with the completion of the project in mid-January 2006.
