2012 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

Attached below is the Helena School District #1 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the year ending June 30, 2012.  Governmental accounting financial standards require this report from all governmental entities in this reporting format.  It is the report that contains the audit opinion and findings.  you have questions regarding the audit opinions or financials you may contact Kim Harris at kharris@helena.k12.mt.us or Mark Blessinger, auditor in charge and partner, at Galusha Higgins and Galusha (406 442-5520).

2012-13 Helena Elementary District Budget

Listed below is the 2012-13 budget for the Elementary District.  These budget documents are in the format required by the Office of Public Instruction.  The Trustees of Helena Elementary district and Helena High School district meet beginning in January to deliberate on the budgets.  Final adoption is required by law to be in early August after public notice.  Please note that each district (elementary and high school) must adopt a budget.  The State of Montana requires a budget for the levied funds (those that are supported with tax levies) and all of these funds and budgets are included in the documents below.  If you have questions, you can contact Kim Harris, Business Manager at 406 324-2040.
