2012 Helena Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and Audit

Linked below is the 2012 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report which includes the audit opinion and findings.  The report may be copied and is also available from the Business Office at 55 S. Rodney or by calling 406 324-2044. 

For a historical perspective, the divider pages include copies of the 1891 financiial report which was filed by Helena School District with the Office of Public Instruction.

 

Three year term Trustee petition

Trustee candidates are required to file the following forms with the Business Manager by March 28, 2013

1) a nominating petition (seebelow) file completed form with Business Manager at 55 S. Rodney. 324-2040

2) an oath of candidacy  (see below)- file with the Business Manager at 55 S. Rodney. 324-2040 and

3) a COPY of the State of Montana Political Practices forms (see link above) with the Business Manger at 55 S. Rodney 324-2040.  The original form is file with Political Practices.

State of Montana Political Practices Information

Trustee candidates are required to file with the State of Montana Political Practices before they can be placed on the school district ballot.  The site below provides the forms and other requirements of the state for school district trustee candidates.  Copies of the Political Practices forms listed below should be filed with the School district (55 S. Rodney, Helena, downstairs).  East Helena candidates should file with the East Helena School District.

b)  Form C 1-A

c)  any financial information (C-5)

May 7, 2013 Call for Mail Ballot Election

Attached is the official call for the May 7th election.  It will be a mail ballot election.  Ballots will be mailed April 22nd to all active registered voters as of April 7, 2013. 

Where do I register to vote?   At the Lewis and Clark County Election Department - 316 N. Park, room 168

Where do I return my ballot?  You may mail it back - you will receive a return envelop.  Or you can drop it off at:

     55 S. Rodney, Helena - the Helena School District business office (7:30 a to 5:00 p) or

     316 N. Park Room 168 - Lewis and Clark Election department  (8:00 a to 5:00 p) or

Where do I call with questions?  You can call the Helena Business Office at 406 324-2044 or County Elections at 447-8338.
