THE GED

GED Program

Qualifications:

You must be 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in a high school.

What to do:

1) Contact the Adult Learning Center for a pre-test
2) Schedule a time to go over test results with the director, Jake Gustin

3) If more study is needed, work out a schedule with Jake for classes.

      a) Tutoring services and materials are free

      b) A schedule is worked out to fit your needs

4) If test results show you are ready for the GED exam, schedule and attend the orientation session:

      a) Every Monday at 9:45 am.

      b) At Front Street Learning Center .

      c) Bring a picture I.D. 

      d) Test cost is $55.00

The GED Exam:

1) Covers:
     a) Language Arts: 

         1) Writing

         2) Reading

     b) Social Studies

     c) Science

     d) Mathematics

2) Tests are given on Tuesdays at 7:45 am.
