Helena is home to eleven elementary schools, grades K-5.  Each school is staffed with highly qualified administrators, teachers, and support staff.  While each school has its own mission statement, they work cooperatively toward meeting state standards and the Helena School Board’s Vision and Goals.

 

In addition to the eleven elementary schools, we offer Montessori classrooms at Broadwater, Central and Smith Schools.  Gifted and Talented Services are housed at Carroll College and serve all eleven elementary schools. The Special Education Preschool is located at the Neighborhood Center on Cruse Ave. 

 

Before School Childcare is available at Rossiter and Jefferson Schools.  After School Childcare is available at Rossiter, Jefferson, Hawthorne, Kessler, Broadwater and Four Georgians Schools.  Kinder Care and Enrichment has programs in the mornings and afternoons at Jefferson and Rossiter Schools, and in the afternoons only at Broadwater School.
